About
Arden Drama School is where kids and teens come to be creative and collaborative! Designed and led by arts and education professionals, our summer camp programs are memorable experiences that build confidence, engage the imagination, and showcase your child's unique talents.
We offer award-winning multi-week and one-day classes taught by theatre professionals. There’s something for everyone. Each session culminates in a performance or showcase for friends and family on the final day! Every Camper receives an Arden Summer Camp t-shirt!
Rising 1st – 5th Grade: Drama Camps — take a theatrical journey through acting, music, storytelling, and dance while working as an ensemble to create and rehearse an original play! Specialty Camps — explore a specific theatre skill in-depth, from design and improv to Broadway song and dance. Camps are held Monday-Friday from 9:30am-4:30pm.
Rising 6th – 8th Grade: The Arden Summer Studio provides exclusive access to classes taught by Philadelphia’s top theatre artists. During Studio weeks, students will deepen their theatre skills, explore their individual creativity, and collaborate with their fellow artists in creating a compelling final showcase on the Arcadia Theatre stage. Plus one-day Masterclasses the week of June 22. Studios are held Monday-Friday from 10:00am-5:00pm.
Rising 9th – 12th Grade (recent high school graduates are also welcome): Summer Conservatories led by theatre professionals — from Scene into Song to a four-week Musical Conservatory production of Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods performed on the Arden mainstage, and a two-week Acting Conservatory One Act Festival. Plus one-day Masterclasses June 15-18 and June 22-26. Conservatories are held Monday-Friday from 10:00am-5:00pm.
