About

The Open Fundamentals program is for the student who wants traditional ballet training without a full-time commitment. Whether an athlete who wants to improve strength and flexibility, or a dancer looking to add more rigorous ballet to current training, these once-a-week classes provide a high level of study via a relaxed schedule.

Ballet Fundamentals 1 is a perfect entry point to fully structured ballet classes for younger and/or beginner dancers. Students work on the foundations of clear technique, including the proper execution of dance steps and alignment of the body.

Ballet Fundamentals 2 allows older students to continue honing technique while increasing strength, flexibility, and movement efficiency. Classes build on the foundations of proper technique and let dancers explore increased proficiency in all aspects of movement including turns and jumps.

Ballet Pre-pointe/Pointe is for students who would like the opportunity to train on pointe. All students begin with pre-pointe, doing exercises that strengthen the small but essential muscles for effective and safe pointe work. Wearing pointe shoes in class is solely at the discretion of the instructor.
