Camp Stevens — A Peaceful Place Apart

Overnight summer camp on 250+ acres near the mountain town of Julian, CA — an hour and a half northeast of San Diego. Episcopal-affiliated; passionate about being a safe space for all campers regardless of national origin, creed, religious belief, color, ethnicity, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, family structure, and ability. Faith and spirituality are an open and ongoing conversation; each individual's beliefs are welcomed and respected. ACA accredited.

Each camper is assigned to an Adventure Group of 10-14 campers led by 3-5 staff. Groups explore forests, trails, gardens, team-building challenges, and outdoor play areas. Each group cooks out over a campfire and sleeps under the stars at least once per session. Older campers may challenge themselves on the high ropes course; younger campers aim for new heights on the climbing wall. All campers can opt into swimming, archery, and arts and crafts.
