About

The Charlotte Chess Center proudly serves children and families throughout Charlotte and the surrounding communities. Our classes welcome young chess players from Ballantyne, Matthews, Pineville, Huntersville, Cornelius, Concord, Fort Mill, Harrisburg, Waxhaw, and other nearby neighborhoods. Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced player, our programs provide engaging instruction, fun activities, and a supportive environment that encourages growth, strategy, and confidence.

The CCC is devoted to chess education. Led by masters, our team of instructors is the most highly qualified in the Southeast. Over 60 schools in the Charlotte Metro Area trust us to provide their students with the highest quality chess program available; in addition to the 2500+ students who receive our chess program at school, our centers are home to over 1500 members of all ages. Our coaches are local — they live, work, and train right here in Charlotte.
