WHY Y CAMP?

Y Camp stands out from other day camps because of its well-rounded, intentional approach to the camper experience.

Campers stay active every day through games, sports, and pool time, while creativity and learning are encouraged through hands-on crafts, skits, camp songs, literacy activities, and STEAM projects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).

Character development is woven throughout the program through our Y Ties initiative, which builds conflict resolution skills and reinforces the Y’s core values: Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, and Caring .

Each week brings a new theme and fresh adventures—filled with high-energy activities designed to engage a wide range of interests and abilities.

We also prioritize social-emotional wellness. Campers participate in activities that support confidence, connection, and personal growth, while still enjoying the fun, active experience the Y is known for.

RAISING THE B.A.R.

At Y Camp, we raise the B.A.R. by focusing on three core outcomes:

Belonging – Every camper feels welcomed, included, and safe to be themselves in a respectful environment.

Achievement – Campers build new skills, discover interests, and grow confidence through meaningful activities.

Relationships – Strong connections are built with Y Leaders and peers, encouraging teamwork, trust, and community.
