The Living Coast Discovery Center — Wildlife Camps

Established in 2010, Wildlife Camps at the Living Coast offer day camps for students in grades Pre-K through 6th. Located on the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Chula Vista — a nonprofit zoo and aquarium where campers meet at least one animal up close, explore trails, visit exhibits, feed ambassadors, engage in hands-on science activities, and create recycled arts and crafts.

Three age tiers (price per week):

• Pre K-Kinder (Ages 4+) — Half-day 9 AM – 12 PM — $250

• 1st-3rd Grade — Full-day 9 AM – 4 PM — $345

• 4th-6th Grade — Full-day 9 AM – 4 PM — $360 (Weeks 1-6 only)

Themes rotate weekly per age group. Camps run Mon-Fri. Check-in 8:30 – 9:15 AM; half-day check-out 12:15 – 1:00 PM; full-day check-out 3:45 – 4:30 PM (late fee $10 per 10 min after).
