ROCK SCHOOL BALLET INTENSIVE — Sunday, June 28 - Friday, July 31, 2026. The Rock School's 2026 Ballet Intensive features personalized attention from an award-winning faculty in state-of-the-art facilities in Philadelphia and West Chester, PA. Designed for motivated students aged 10 to 18, the program offers classes in ballet technique, jumps and turns, pointe (for ladies ages 11+), partnering, contemporary, and pilates. Students can choose from 2, 3, or 5-week sessions.

Please be advised that space in the Ballet Intensive is first come, first-served, and may fill to capacity before the end of our national audition tour. Acceptance does not reserve your space in the program. Session location – Philadelphia or West Chester – is assigned by our artistic staff. Dancers are assigned to the location best suited for their strengths and needs in ballet technique. Dancers are assigned location at time of audition.

Philadelphia Session Dates: 2-Week Session: Sunday, June 28 - Friday, July 10, 2026. 3-Week Session: Monday, July 13 - Friday, July 31, 2026. 5-Week Session: Sunday, June 28 - Friday, July 31, 2026.

All dancers at both locations enrolled for 3 or 5 weeks will participate in our 2026 Summer Showcase at the Scottish Rite Auditorium on Friday, July 31, 2026. Immediately following the performance, dancers will attend a dinner and dance party in the Collingswood Ballroom. Please note that this event is for dancers only; families are unable to purchase tickets to the dinner.

This listing is for RESIDENTIAL students (tuition + room and board). Full room and board accommodations are available for all sessions. Please note that residence is assigned by The Rock School for Dance according to session.

Marine Club: The Marine Club dorms are a dedicated dorm floor located in the Marine Club apartment complex and serve as home to our Professional Division resident students during the school year. Amenities include in-room refrigerators and washer/dryer units as well as en suite bathrooms. This loft style dorm site is conveniently located directly across the street from The Rock School and gives summer residents a firsthand account of daily Rock School life, including all meals prepared on site by Chef John and The Rock School Cafe.

Curtis Institute: Located in the heart of Rittenhouse at 1606 Locust Street, Curtis provides walkability to the School and multiple Center City attractions. Additional amenities include 24 hour security with key card access, an on-site cafe which caters to a variety of dietary and nutritional needs, complimentary laundry facilities, lounge and terrace areas, and en suite bathrooms.
