About

Make memories & build life-long skills at CAMP Sky-Y ! Camp Sky-Y, run by the Valley of the Sun YMCA, has been helping campers build life skills and grow in Prescott, Arizona since 1938. Through camp activities and experiences, campers gain new experiences, build self-esteem, develop compassion and social skills, learn responsibility, and build character.

Three program tracks based on age:

• Discover Camp (Ages 7-8) — Discover Sky-Y and all it has to offer in our first-time summer camp experience. Climbing tower, short nature hike, arts and crafts, archery and slingshot ranges. Age-appropriate programs facilitated by highly trained camp counselors.

• Explorer Camp (Ages 9-11) — A perfect mix of scheduled activities along with multiple opportunities to sign-up and try out new and different programs. Explorers have 3 sign-ups and 1 free period each day to fill with any adventure.

• Challenger Trails (Ages 12-16) — Specialty trails (formerly specialty camps) for deeper experiences. Choose one Trail to specialize in for the week: Archer, Artist, Climber, Horseback (Saddle Club), Marksmen (Sportsman's), Outdoor, Performance, or Paintball (Secret Agent).

Camp staff are hand-selected, professionally trained, and background-checked.
